This month, most of my attention is on Nexus Repository.

We’re pushing hard on OCI 1.1 compliance — the referrers API, subject fields, and the migration story for existing v1.0 artifacts. Most of my time goes into design docs and review. The interesting problem is not the spec itself; it’s the seams between storage, indexing, and the security layer when a new artifact type enters the world.

On the side, I’ve been sending small patches upstream to Apache Maven and a couple of related projects — the kind of bug fix that feels small until you realise every CI run on Earth benefits.

Swift-Hyderabad has a new cohort coming in, so I’m doing more résumé reviews than usual.

I’m trying to publish something here every two weeks. Short posts. Things I actually learned, not things I read.
